1)Cancer Journey: Sharing The Journey
Cancer! Really? The word scares the crap out of me and I never thought it would apply to me. And Stage IV? UGH! I couldn’t even hold onto “oh it’s ok, it was found early, it is localized”. Mother’s Day Blessings
I am truly blessed! I remember when I became a mom, I thought it would fill the Mother's Day sadness I have from losing my mother at the age of 24. That didn't happen. Motherhood has brought so much joy that I cannot even begin to describe it, but I was even more sad that… Continue reading Mother’s Day Blessings
We Need A Little Christmas… Now!!
It is November of 2020 and the pandemic is here. It feels as if Covid19 is lurking around every corner. Our Covid numbers are going up here in Connecticut. Our Wake Up Call
I debated writing this blog post. Really, what do I have to say that hasn’t already been said? But, can it be written or talked about enough? Everyone who is angry over the murder of George Floyd needs to have their voice heard on this matter. It needs to be shouted to up to the heavens. I remember… Continue reading Our Wake Up Call
#TikTok Anyone?
Nothing like trying to do something your teenager does on a regular basis to make you feel old. I spent most of yesterday making a 60 second TikTok video. You don’t know what TikTok is? It is a social media application that displays short, fun videos. There are quick tutorials, dancing or fitness challenges, riddles...really just fun moments to share. Most are set to music and last about 1 minute.
AFOs – Amazing Foot Odors?!

Well, official definition per Google is: An ankle-foot orthosis, or AFO, is a support intended to control the position and motion of the ankle, compensate for weakness, or correct deformities.… Continue reading AFOs – Amazing Foot Odors?!
Go Into the Roar!
Neither Alice nor I can remember Mother’s Day last year. I had just started chemotherapy, and who knows how I was feeling. I’m sure family and friends tried to make it enjoyable. Alice and I probably went for a car ride. That's our thing. I just can’t recall. But this year I am almost giddy… Continue reading Go Into the Roar!
