I was introduced to Beautycounter 3 years ago by my friend Erica. Since my cancer diagnosis, I had started paying attention to all of the toxic chemicals in my food and personal care products, so I revisited Beautycounter and took a deeper look at their product ingredients and mission statement. With chemo going in my body, I wanted everything else to be as clean and safe as possible. I actually remember that while I was in the throes of chemo, a friend brought me Beautycounter’s Citrus Mimosa Hydrating body lotion. It was light, felt great and had a subtle pleasant scent and best of all, it was clean and safe! No chemicals of concern.
Once I was done with chemo, I decided to become a Beautycounter consultant, mostly to buy products at a discount and share them with family and friends. I am nine months out of chemo and I am cancer free! Thank the Lord! Safer and cleaner products are still very important to me and why I love Beautycounter but I’ve also grown to love the company and the business. I love having a team and I’m hoping to grow into a mentor who can really help each team member build their business. I love the products, the people, the mission. I love reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. I love the creativity of social media. I love everything about this job! Contact me if you want to know more about the products or the business opportunity.
